The Law Office of Glass & Rau is located in the heart of Babylon Village. Our skilled attorneys have over 35 years of experience litigating matrimonial cases, civil matters, and probate and estate cases, throughout Long Island. In 1987, Gerard Glass, Maureen Glass and Rick Lazio opened the law firm of Glass & Glass, Esqs. In 1992, Rick Lazio was elected to the United States House of Representatives and the law firm was renamed Glass & Glass. In 2013, Kelly Rau, Maureen Glass’s daughter, joined the law firm after almost four years of practicing as a corporate attorney in New York City. In 2018, Maureen Glass and Kelly Rau formed Glass & Rau and Kelly Rau was named a partner.

MAUREEN A. GLASS

Mrs. Glass concentrates on divorce and family law, civil and criminal litigation, and wills and estate planning. Mrs. Glass has served as Village Attorney and Special Assistant District Attorney for the Village of Lindenhurst since 1987. She has also served as a guest litigator in the annual Surrogate's Court Mock Trial. Mrs. Glass is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association and is admitted to practice in all New York State Courts, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

KELLY RAU

KELLY RAU is an attorney at Glass & Glass whose practice primarily focuses on matrimonial and family law matters, Wills, Trusts and Estates. Mrs. Rau first joined the firm in 2005 as a full time matrimonial paralegal while attending law school at night. After graduating law school in 2009, she worked as a corporate attorney in New York City at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel. In 2013, she returned to Glass & Glass as a full time attorney.

Our attorneys have over 40 years of combined legal experience. Prior to becoming a private practitioner, Maureen Glass was an assistant district attorney in Suffolk County. Maureen has litigated and settled cases in Suffolk County and Nassau County and has handled many cases in the Appellate Division in Brooklyn. Prior to joining the law practice, Kelly Rau was a corporate attorney practicing at a prestigious law firm in New York City where she worked on cases involving high profile corporate clients.
